My Wild Artist Brave

Listen to Ivy read My Wild Artist Brave

Poem: My Wild Artist Brave

***

feel me

through artist eyes

your elixir soothes my weary heart

as a blossom curls

around another

to birth undeniable art

.

feel me

through soulful hands

my arousal licks fire inside

where wishes play dark

and delectable games

with a spirit lustful and lithe

.

feel me

through passion’s pen

our testament of emotions true

beyond fools an fakers

blind to the makers

your eyes meet mine and see through

.

feel me

through ages deep

our celestial connection long-known

embedded and threaded

in words ever wedded

to soul fire of twin dreamers owned

.

fierce passion pen

release

drip love into capillary waves

bless artist eyes waiting

a heart never failing

to cherish my wild artist brave

Where does one even begin with a flawless verse such as this?

To pick cherries from My Wild Artist Brave would be to do so from an ever replenishing tree as, every time I read or listen, another glazes my eyes.

    “beyond fools and fakers

    blind to the makers

your eyes meet mine and see through”

This passage illustrates, once again, why I believe you possess an artistic voice second to none. And to hear the words trickle from thine lips, further heightens the feeling. Flawless in delicate refrain, structure and tongue. Magnificent, My Lady Papillon. Wild Artist Brave.

Ivy- This is such a beautiful piece. For me, I get this sense of both the joy and pain of loving someone or something so completely. As I read it, I thought it could be written as easily to oneself as to a lover. These lines really touched me:

    “embedded and threaded
    in words ever wedded
to soul fire of twin dreamers owned”

    Deeply touching!
I loved the recording as well!

Catherine, you see what I intended…that the poem could be written as easily to oneself as to a lover. Yes. It makes me happy that you see it. Also, you selected some of my favorite lines. <3 Thank you for your wonderful comment. *big smile and a hug*

Oh, M, thank you deeply. <3 It took a lot of courage to record myself and put my voice here. Given that some of you enjoy hearing me read, I plan to do it more often. Thank you for supporting me like you do. Please know that you are one reason why I've built confidence to share my words over time. You have been steadfast in your kind, gentle support of my words and me, my dear friend, and I can't thank you enough. *big hugs*
