Birdsong

Listen to Ivy read Birdsong

. voices of ten hundred or thirty three flow into me as i sit in sunbeams on an april afternoon where i am alone but thankful you’re with me because you live far away yet kiss songs for me to feel on my cheek . to hear in my heart . to seed in my soul for a harvest to come under your knowing gaze .  i am alone but i’m thankful you’re with me so i praise the feathered beats of you that remind me life goes on while winter stands us still and casts doubt upon our tomorrows where i will be alone but thankful you’re with me .  life moves us forward under an april sun and your voices of ten hundred or thirty three float messages on the breeze to calm all uncertainties within me .

Hello, my dear readers.

I hope this poem finds you and your loved ones healthy and happy.

Our world is experiencing hard times that will linger for a while.

Let us come together in heart.

Let us be strong in mind.

Let us live and love.

Be well. Be happy. Be you.

Ivy
